Data We Collect
- Shop Information: Store name, domain, and API access token (required for content publishing via Shopify Admin API). We never use this token for anything beyond the service you subscribed to.
- Content Data: Generated articles, keywords, SEO scores, and GEO analysis results. This data is used to deliver and improve the service.
- Usage Data: App interaction logs, feature usage, and API call records for service improvement, monitoring, and billing.
How We Use Your Data
- To generate and publish AI-optimized content to your Shopify store
- To analyze content for Generative Engine Optimization (GEO)
- To improve our AI models and service quality
- To provide customer support and track billing
Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties except as required to operate the service:
- AI Inference: Content generation uses third-party AI APIs (OpenRouter, OpenAI). No identifiable store data is shared beyond the content being generated.
- Payment Processing: All payments are processed by Shopify Billing. We never see or store your payment information.
We do not sell your data to advertisers, train public AI models on your content, or share your information with third parties for their own purposes.
Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your app is installed. Upon uninstall:
- Published articles: Remain on your store permanently. They're your content.
- App-specific data: Drafts, analytics, logs, and cached data are deleted within 48 hours.
- API tokens: Revoked immediately upon uninstall.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access: Request a copy of all data we hold about your store
- Deletion: Request deletion of your data at any time
- Correction: Request corrections to inaccurate data
- Portability: Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format

Security
We implement industry-standard security measures:
- All API communications encrypted via TLS 1.3
- Access tokens stored encrypted at rest
- Regular security audits and dependency scanning
- Minimum-access principle for all internal systems
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to the store owner. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
